Paul Richard Fry Marshall Paul Richard Fry, 94, died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Maplewood of Marshall. Mr. Fry was born on June 22, 1918, in Seybert, Indiana to Bertam and Ruby (Hill) Fry. He graduated Coldwater High School and attended Argubright Business College. He would later successfully complete, American Banking Institute Courses to help advance his career. Mr. Fry served in the Finance Corp of the Army during World War II. He married Jean Watkins on June 23, 1946, in Union City. Mr. Fry would then go to work for Michigan National Bank in Battle Creek. He was later transferred to the Marshall branch and would retire as Vice-President of Operations and Personnel in 1981. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Robert Holben of Harbor Springs, two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Margaret Fry of Chicago, and David and Sandra Fry of Marshall. Six grandchildren, Sara (James) Hadden of Austin Texas, Casey (Clint) Fetzer of Farmington Hills, Allison Fry of Evanston, Illinois, Jamie (Jason) Madry of Climax, Jason (Rebecca) Fry of Union City, Kellie Fry of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Taylor Madry, Alaina Fry, Addison Madry, Emmeline Hadden, Peyton Fetzer, two step-great-grandchildren Trayvin and Makenna Fetzer, nieces Judy Ross and Janis Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean in 1994, and brother Robert Fry. Visitation will take place at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 2-8p.m. with family present to greet friends from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. Funeral services celebrating his life will take place at 1:30p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home with reverend James Codde officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Following the committal services the family will gather with friends at the Kempf Funeral Home Reception Hall Family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Community Foundation.
