Philip T. Lussier

Philip Thomas Lussier, age 60, ended his battle with prostate cancer on August 11th, 2015. Loving father of Natalie (Sean) Walters and Dustin (Kari) Lussier; dearest brother of Paula (Tony) Cairo, Pete (Sue) Lussier, Perry Lussier, Pamela (John) Fiorelli, Louie (Melinda) Lussier and Lisa (Mark) Carey.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Theresa Lussier and his sister, Patrice Kreger Brady. He was born in Royal Oak, grew up and raised his family in Battle Creek; and also lived in Ann Arbor and Berkley, MI. He graduated from St.Philip High School and attained his Associate's Degree from Kellogg Community College.

Phil enjoyed meeting and interacting with people as he worked in the beer distributing industry for 30+ years.  He was loyal and hard working in his careers with Beer Company of Battle Creek / Quality House Beverages, Silverfoam Distributing Co., and O&W Distributing.  Phil enjoyed fishing, boating, beer tasting, downhill skiing, camping, riding bikes, tailgating, attending Michigan State football games, and spending time with his family and pets.  Many people knew him as 'Uncle Phil' because he was such an amazing father and would treat all he knew as family. Phil was a generous man and always there to help.

A special thank you to the U of M Cancer Center and Bronson at Home Hospice Residence for their loving care and support. Also thank you to Michigan Memorial for all of the arrangements.
