Reatha Angell Obituary

Reatha "Tiny" Angell Battle Creek Reatha "Tiny" Angell, age 82, of Battle Creek, passed away October 1, 2010. Tiny was born November 27, 1927 in Battle Creek the daughter of William and Gertie (Hutcheson) Collins. She married Wayne Angell on July 20, 1946 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2002. Tiny was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church for 51 years serving as the Chairman of Trustees, the Memorial Committee, V.B.S., the Choir, and the Circle. She was also active with the Food Pantry. Tiny loved to play cards, make crafts, and square dancing. Tiny is survived by her sons: Mark Angell and Scott Angell; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her brother: Whitie Collins; her sisters: Mary (Jack) Willavize and Sonnie (Joe) Boes; her special friend: Lee Ricketson all of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog: Mickey. Funeral Services for Tiny will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at the Royal Funeral Home, Battle Creek with Pastor Dan Warren officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Memorials in Tiny's name may be directed to Lakeview Baptist Church or to the American Diabetes Association.

Mark, Linda & Renea..We remember Tiny as a very vivacious and loving gal, always open and friendly to us. So sorry to hear about her passing. We know she is kickin' up gold dust on the other side. May the God of all comfort and peace be with you at this time. Love, Carolyn Heathman
