Rita Tiffany May Battle Creek Rita Tiffany May, 95, of Battle Creek, passed away June 18, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She was employed by United Steel and Wire Co., until 1980. Rita was a member of Convis Union Methodist Church, and enjoyed volunteer work at Bronson Battle Creek. She was especially fond of animals, her pets, and bird watching. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Elizabeth Taylor, four brothers, Rexford, Richard, Russell, and Robert; and her devoted and beloved husband of 30 years, Alva Ray Tiffany. A second husband died in 2007. Surviving are one son, Terry Alva (Barbara) Tiffany, two granddaughters, Tamara (Jeffrey) Jackson and Lisa (Charles) Jones; four great grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. At the request of the family, private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the
