Sally L. (Buller) Geouque

Sally L. (Buller) Geouque, age 71, went to be with her Lord on May 25, 2013, in the company of her loving family.  Sally was born October 28, 1941, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Albert and Edna Buller.  Sally graduated from Pennfield High School in 1959.  She was preceded in death by her father Albert and her brother Jack.

In 1961, Sally married the love of her life Gerry Geouque, her devoted husband of 51 years.   Sally is survived by Gerry of Avon Park, her mother Edna Buller and her sister Sandra Jensen both of Battle Creek, MI, and sons Perry Geouque, Dallas, TX, Randy Geouque, Landenberg, PA, and Deron Geouque, Blowing Rock, NC.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, Andrew, Emiley, Erin, Meghan, and Zachary.

Sally was a lady of all seasons.  People could always tell what holiday it was by how she decorated the house, both inside and out.  Sally also loved to do arts and crafts and she never missed HGTV.

Sally was also dedicated and devoted to all of her jobs she worked throughout her career.  Sally started with the Lakeview School District in Battle Creek driving school bus in 1972.  She then moved to Boyertown, PA where she drove school bus for another 12 years.  Her love of driving school bus continued for another three years in Nash County, NC, and another ten years for Highland County, FL.  Sally also worked for the credit card giant MBNA America as a Customer Service Representative for six years.  Retirement was not in Sally's vocabulary.

Sally was very active and enjoyed golf, gardening, and playing cards.  She was a member of the Riverside, Spring Ford, and Sun n Lakes Country Clubs over the years.  She was also an active member of the Union Congregational Church in Avon Park, FL and a former member of First Congregational Church in Battle Creek MI.

A celebration of Sally's life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday July 5, 2013 at the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek MI with a reception to immediately follow at Riverside Golf Club.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Sally's name to the Union Congregational Church of Avon Park, FL.
