Timmy Rench Obituary
Timmy Rench Union City Timmy Rench, 62, of Union City, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home following a lengthy illness. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, located 3 miles east of M-66 on M-60, in Union City with Pastor Dennis Siddall, Tim's cousin, officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, also at the Lighthouse in Union City. Tim was born on January 12, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Siegel and Maryetta (Keeler) Rench, Sr. He grew up in Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Public Schools. He married Deborah L. Hulsey on October 22, 1971 in Pulaski, TN. The couple lived in Tekonsha for many years before moving to Union City in 2002. Tim had worked at the Hayes Manufacturing facility in Albion for nearly 30 years. A joker right up until the end, Tim was always making people laugh. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, but his true passion was playing softball. He played slow pitch softball for K & L Grocery all over the area for many years. He was well known for his skills as a left fielder, as ball rarely made it past him. Mr. Rench is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Rench; his son Jason Rench of Sturgis; his daughter Layla Rench of Battle Creek; his twin brother Terry (Marsha) Rench and brother Siegel (Mary Lou) Rench, all of Battle Creek; his grandchildren Benjamin Michael Rench and Cameron Lee Kohn; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved Pitbull Larz. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Harry Creller; his sisters Sally Way and Mary Burbank; and his granddaughter, Brettlyn Sheyenne Rench, who died in a tragic house fire just a few days ago. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, c/o Deborah Rench. Please visit www.lighthousefuneral.com to share memories, pictures and videos with the family.
