Dorothy, Brenda and Victor-
How sad I was to learn of the loss of your precious husband and father. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. What a wonderful gift we have from god in meories. When you close your eyes, you can remember Victor just as he was, playing music, happy and healthy. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
A friend.

I, for one will greatly miss the "Captain"! Working with him was one of the best times of my life. Growing-up listening to the group gave a generation of young Black Children a sense of idenity and direction. He was such a great preson to be associated with!
