Bill enjoyed architect design at the Vo-Ed Center.  Upon graduation he farmed and worked for Pope Washer in Battle Creek. He was employed the last 25 years with Automatic Apartment Laundry, AAL, as a Service Technician and Collector.

Bill enjoyed supporting his family in numerous sporting activities.  For several years he was the Official Scorekeeper at the Athens High School boys and girls basketball games.  The family was also very involved with the Calhoun County 4-H swine and horse clubs.

He enjoyed snowmobiling and skiing, 4-wheeling and camping. He took pride in teaching his girls the art of hunting with their bow and arrows and shotguns.
