Mark K. Tuttle Kalamazoo Mark K. Tuttle, 54, of Kalamazoo and formerly of Battle Creek died at his residence on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. He was born in April 2, 1956, in Battle Creek to Stanley T. and Margaret E. (Williams) Tuttle. Mark grew up in Battle Creek and was a 1974 graduate of St. Philip Catholic Central, where he still holds a school golf record. He attended Central Michigan University four years and was employed as a golf professional at several Michigan golf courses, including Bedford Valley Golf Course. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Stanley T. and Judith Tuttle of Battle Creek; two brothers, Michael T. (Gina) Tuttle of Kalamazoo, Joseph G. (Linda) Tuttle of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Amanda, Elizabeth and Lauren Tuttle; nephews, Jake Tuttle and Zachary Robertson; and a great nephew, Ethan. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Tuttle on October 15, 1980. Mark loved to golf, enjoyed reading, was an avid Detroit Tiger fan, and cherished his family summer vacations in Pentwater. He volunteered at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission working in the Mission store. At the request of the family, friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where they will be received 5:00-7:00 p.m. and where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Charles H. Fischer at St. Philip Catholic Church 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Mission, 448 N.
