Charles "Chuck" Anderson Memorial services for Charles "Chuck" Anderson are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2011 at Saint Philip Catholic Church, Battle Creek, Michigan. Mr. Anderson passed away at the age of 76 on November 3, 2011 in Flint. Charles Baltes Anderson was born July 29, 1935 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Chuck comes from a long line of business owner's from Grand Rapid's, including Annabe's Candy and Baltes Hardware Store. He lived in Battle Creek from 1947-1962, Grand Haven from 1962-1978 and Northern Michigan from 2000-2005. He attended St. Philip's High School, where he played basketball and was a member of the class of 1953. In Grand Haven, he founded Atco Rubber Products, Inc. in 1961, served on the Grand Haven School Board as a member and President in the mid 70's, and was a member of JC's & Rotary Club. Near Traverse, he served as Chairman of Air Systems, Inc., was a patron and supporter of Interlochen Center for the Arts, where several of his children and grandchildren currently attend and have attended in the past. He retired to Boulder City, Nevada in 2005, and recently moved back to Texas to be close to family. He worked as an engineer and entrepreneur, and served in the US Air Force. He was an extensive traveler, loved the fine arts, and was a private pilot. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth E. Anderson; mother, Louise B. Anderson; and sister, Suzanne M. Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Rita P. Anderson of Flint; five children, Kathleen J. Moss (William R.), Laura J. Andersen, Charles T. Andersen, Mary J. Krizmanic (Mark P.), John L. Andersen (Laura L.); eleven grandchildren, Matthew L. Moss (Lauren C.), Elizabeth R. Pearlman, Victoria I. Pearlman, Charles L. Pearlman, Adam B. Andersen, Paul B. Andersen, Mariah L. Andersen, Emily D. Krizmanic, Hanna P. Krizmanic, Zoe L. Andersen and Beathan T. Andersen; and one great-grandchild, Sage N. Moss.
