Stanley E. Drury East Leroy Stanley E. Drury, 83, of East Leroy, MI died at Bronson Battle Creek on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Stan was born October 8, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to Winfred and Emma (Corbin) Drury. He was a 1948 graduate for Battle Creek Central High School and then served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Stan was employed as a blacksmith at Post Cereals for 38 years. Surviving is Cynthia (Rowe) Drury, his wife of 36 years; a daughter, Norma (Jimmy) Carpenter of Augusta, GA; two grandsons, Nick (Candice) Lind, Todd (Amy) Lind; four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Breanna, Allen and Christina Lind. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Elzina Selbee and a half-brother, Allen Drury. Stan was a member of the Post 25 Year Club and a life member of Bedford Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards and Aggravation; fishing and traveling. Earlier in life he played golf and bowled. Friends will be received 2:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where, funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
