Flora V. Rothwell Ceresco Flora V. Rothwell, 91, of Ceresco, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Oaklawn Hospital surrounded by her family. Flora was born October 17, 1921 in Pikeville, TN the daughter of James and Hattie (Snider) Swafford. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Summer City Baptist Church and attended Emmett Street Missionary Church. She enjoyed crocheting, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. On June 19, 1937 Flora V. Swafford was united in marriage to James H. Rothwell in Rosville, GA. Flora was preceded in death by her husband, a son, James D. Rothwell, her four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, John (Leigh) Rothwell of Ceresco; a daughter-in-law, Laura Rothwell of Portage; five grandchildren, Desiree (Rob) Spencer, Joseph Rothwell, Kristopher Rothwell, Nickolas Rothwell, Erica Daly; seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Marshall Swafford. Friend's visitation from 4-7 p.m., Friday, November 23rd, at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, 105 Capital Ave. N.E. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Emmett Street Missionary Church, Pastor Michael McGlynn and Rev.
