Sally S. Graves Burlington Sally S. Graves, age 60, of Burlington, went home to the arms of her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Sally was born March 14, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio, to William and Theda (Moore) Yarnell and came to Battle Creek in 1966. Sally graduated from Lakeview High School in 1970 and attended Wright's Beauty Academy. Sally married Larry Graves on June 2, 1973. Sally loved her family first and foremost and was a wonderful homemaker and beautician for over forty years. Sally had a tremendous passion and talent for gardening; she also enjoyed painting, music and dancing. Sally is survived by her husband, Larry, a daughter, Sunshine S. Graves of Battle Creek, a son, Adam A. (Abby) Graves of Battle Creek, a sister, Trudy L.Yarnell of Battle Creek, a brother, Gregory A. (Mary) Yarnell of Battle Creek, grandchildren Ayden and Adyson Graves. Sally was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
