Betty Jean (Thompson) Mosher Battle Creek Betty Jean (Thompson) Mosher, age 81 of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her residence in Battle Creek. Betty was born November 18, 1931 in Battle Creek, MI to William and Velma (Roberts) Thompson. She was previously married to Martin Eager that ended in divorce. She married her second husband Lawrence Mosher in 1952 who preceded her in death in 1983. Betty loved spending time with her family, doing word search books, crocheting, puzzles and watching her shows. Betty is survived by her children Rosemary Lopez, William (Kerri) Mosher, Frank (Becky) Mosher, Fred Mosher, and Donald Mosher all of Battle Creek, Albert Mosher of Sherwood, MI and Vicky Oldham and Gary Mosher both of Union City; 27 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; and her brother Robert W. Thompson of Battle Creek. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a son Lawrence Mosher Jr. Visitation Monday, February 11, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spencer Family Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12th at Spencer's with Pastor Marty Burdick officiating. Burial Burlington Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Wesleyan Church in Union City.
