Arthur "Howard" Martin Concord Arthur "Howard" Martin, age 70 of Concord went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. He was born December 25, 1942 in Amba, Kentucky to Arthur Lee and Ida (Compton) Martin. In 1968 he married Maryann Walter who survives. Howard was a Combat soldier who served in the Country of Vietnam from February 1964 thru February 1966. He worked for the State of Michigan for 19 years, he enjoyed farming, hunting and harassing his grandchildren. Howard is survived by: his wife Maryann of 45 years; sons, Joseph (Patty) Martin, Michael (Chris) Martin, David (Heather) Martin; (13) Grandchildren, (2) Great Grandchildren; sisters, Ruth, Rena and Theda; brothers, John B and John Frank; many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 211 Harmon Avenue, Concord, Michigan 49237 with a brief Service prior to 12:00 p.m. with Father Denis Spitzley officiating.
