Harold "Jr." Denbrock Homer Harold "Jr." Denbrock, 64, of Homer, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek. Born December 3, 1949, in Albion, he was the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Bartlett) Denbrock, Sr. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1968 and was employed as a car hauler for Leaseway Motor Freight. He had also worked as a milk hauler and enjoyed farming and hauling grain with his father-in-law. Jr. was a member of the Albion Elks Lodge, Teamsters Local 580, Michigan Milk Producers Association, and the Kalamazoo Antique Tractor Club. On April 17, 1970, he married Brenda Flint and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Penny Denbrock of Homer and Peggy (Jeff) Middleton of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three special daughters, Wendy Nantz of Galesburg, April Peck of Homer, and Susan Wenderoth of Allentown, Pennsylvania; one sister, Durene Renfro of Tekonsha, one brother, Albert Denbrock of Marshall; one brother-in-law, Roger Alison of Jackson; one son-in-law, Randy Sprague of Homer; five grandchildren, Dakota, Ashley & Dylan Sprague and Colin & Elizabeth Middleton; three special grandchildren, Jacob, Sierra, and Zachary Nantz; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters (Karen Denbrock, Clytie Denbrock & Sharon Alison), and son (Scott). Memorial services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel, Litchfield, with Reverend Clyde Wonders officiating.
