Jimmy Lynn "Jim" Jefferson, 73
Jimmy Lynn "Jim" Jefferson age 73 of Flippin passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn Home. Jim was born October 16, 1939 at Flippin, Arkansas to Otto John and Pauline (Wood) Jefferson. Jim was a Watermelon farmer, a member of the Campbell Masonic Lodge—Marshall, Arkansas, a Master Mason, 32nd Degree, a Shriner, and a Baptist by faith since he was 15 years old and currently was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Jim married the former Drucella Henry on June 30, 1962.
Jim is survived by: His wife Drucella of Flippin
Two Sons: Jack Jefferson and his wife; Sandy of Flippin, Arkansas
Lawrence Jefferson and his wife; Julie of Benton, Arkansas
Two daughters: Cindy Linck and her husband; Tim of Las Cruces, New Mexico
Dea Shatterly and her husband; Jason of Hilo, Hawaii
One sister: Shirley McCarty of Independence, Missouri
Jim is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Andrea Klima, Chris Linck, Jessie Jefferson, Jennifer Wilhite, Austin Jefferson, Cady Jefferson, Bryce Jefferson, Blake Jefferson, Matt Shatterly and Scott Shatterly. Five great grandchildren: Noah, Lilianna, Keilee, Hadlee, Brenley.
Jim was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Gene Jefferson.
Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 5-7 pm. Services will be conducted at the New Hope Baptist Church on Monday,May 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., with Bro. Ronnie Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Flippin Cemetery, Flippin, Arkansas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Linck, Jessie Jefferson, Austin Jefferson, Justin Wilhite, David Gilley, Joe Dale Purdom.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Andrea Klima, Jennifer Wilhite, Cady Jefferson, Bryce Jefferson, Blake Jefferson, Matt Shatterly and Scott Shatterly.

I miss you, Grandpa Jim. I moved to Kansas from Arkansas. And I´m trying to get a degree or a certification in welding. I wish you were here to see me graduate from high school. I hope you and Omri have fun in the afterlife.
