Loretta will live on forever through the memories of her many family members, friends and colleagues whose lives she touched with her unwavering devotion to family and friends, her exceptional academic talent, career achievements, generosity, and humor. The fond memories we and our children shared over the years as neighbors will always remain with us, and she will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to be touched by her presence in their lives.

I remember Loretta from her attendance at the annual AG CLE Program that I coordinated. She always made a point to thank me for my work putting together the program. Then I found out she is the wife of my major professor while a graduate student in Biology Education at UALR. Small world and it will be smaller without this generous and gracious lady. My condolences to you Dr. Kleve.

Dear Maurice, Jennifer & Annie,
It is hard to express the loss I feel. I want you to know when God created Loretta he "broke the mold." She was such a unique person, so very kind & caring. When she first came to OHA/ODAR I went into her office, introduced myself & we were instant friends. I will always remember all the lunches we shared w/coworkers & all the laughs we had during that time. I truly believe she was perhaps a "Carol Burnett" clone. She kept us all in stitches. She often spoke of all of you and her grandchildren. You meant so much to her. I am so blessed to have known & worked with her. She will be missed sorely. You all are in my thoughts & prayers.

Loretta began her career in OHA/ODAR with a large group of us in Dallas North. She was a dynamic force and offered her keen insight into our new world some 26 years ago. We eventually went our separate ways but most of us remained in the OHA family. She and I conversed directly or over the email over the years, usually related to some management puzzle placed before us mere "writers" to solve. Many of us considered her to be our very own Carol Burnett in terms of humor, serious philospher and witty muse. She will be missed. Peace to you and yours at this time.
