James Monroe Forshee, 86
A Funeral Service for James Monroe " Jim" Forshee of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Monday, March 25, 2013, at Central Baptist Church, Jonesboro, AR, with Reverend Larry Bailey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Mountain Home, AR and Monday, March 25, 2013 from 11:00 am until the time of service at the church.
James passed away March 19, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born February 8, 1927, in Saint James, Arkansas, the son of Rufus and Dottie Lindsey Forshee. He married Bodie Lipford on December 24, 1946, at Blytheville, Arkansas and worked in sales. James lived in Mountain Home, since 1984 moving from Paragould, Arkansas. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and loved his family and animals.
James is survived by his 3 daughters, Laura (Roger) Dyce of Clarkridge, AR, Sheila (Larry) Bailey of Jonesboro, AR and Janis (Victor) Woods of Mountain Home, AR; one brother, R.D. (Evelyn) Forshee of Portage, MI, and several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bodie I. Forshee; and several brothers and sisters.
Burial will be in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to any organization with animal care or Central Baptist Missions.

Laura and family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. He was a great man. I'll always remember him as the bread man when I worked at Harps in Mtn. Home. Hugs a prayers being sent your way!
