Lila Maxine Curran, 72

Lila Maxine (McBee) Curran, age 72, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Lila was born June 9, 1941 in Flippin, Arkansas to the late William Herbert and Bitha (Galloway) McBee. She had been employed as a night manager for Town & Country Grocery Store. A lifetime resident of the area, she was a Baptist by faith, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Curran is survived by her husband, William "Bill" of the home; a son, Ronald Richter of Flippin, Arkansas; three daughters: Becky Koellner of Harriet, Arkansas; Peggy Sue Curran; and Lila Curran, both of Flippin, Arkansas; a brother, Carl McBee of Flippin, Arkansas; four sisters: Willie Roberts of Fair Grove, Missouri; Joy Parks, Marlene Clymer, and Tommie Sue Luttjohon, all of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Curran; two brothers: William Agart, William Silas McBee; a sister, Connie June Mattox; and two grandsons: Sammy Twigg and Josh Twigg.

Visitation for Mrs. Curran will be Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:00 am at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating. Interment will follow at Flippin Cemetery in Flippin, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Carl McBee, Jr., Russell Stockdale, Ashley Casey, Charles Martin, Joe Williams, and Larry Wooten.
