C J Tomlinson, 22 On Wednesday morning, August 26, 2015, C J Tomlinson finished his walk on earth, leaving to be at home with his Lord and Savior. C J was born November 13, 1992 in Orange Park, Florida. He was visiting his friends in Mountain Home at the time of his passing. He will be missed by his family and his many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cooper Park, Saturday, August 29, 2015 between 4 and 6 PM; a gathering for memories to be shared.

Turner, Diana  
Diana Jean Turner, 69 Diana Jean Turner, 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Mountain Home. She was born August 13, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Lawrence and Nina (Ewing) McCurry. Diana was an active board member of the Republican Women's Club and the Northwest Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. In the past she had served Baxter County as a member of the Quorum Court (eight years) and Reserve Deputy Sheriff. She served in both the Buford and Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Departments. She was also a member of the Damsel Fly Fishers of Mountain Home. Diana is survived by her husband, Richard Turner of the home; six children, Denise Phillips (Tyson) of Flippin, Deanna Anderson of Jonesboro, Eric Turner (Dixie) of Mountain Home, Shawn Turner (Keiko) of Prosper, Texas, Vicki Scott (Rob) of Mooresville, North Carolina and Mindy Turner of Overland Park, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, Corbin, Kamryn, Blake, Kayla, Chris(Margie),Bailey, Michiyo, Kiyoshi, Shoji, Candice (Mike), Derek (Michelle)and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Brentyn, Calen, Sarah Grace and Kayden. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Conner-Hankins Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel. Whitehurst, Robert  
Robert Whitehurst, 70 Robert Allen Whitehurst, 70, of Yellville, Arkansas died Monday, August 24, 2015 He was born in Decatur, Illinois February 1, 1945 to the late Delbert and Ruby (Glen) Whitehurst. A United States Army veteran, he was a Methodist. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in the construction of power high lines. Robert is survived by his wife, Frances, of the home; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Brinck of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters: Anne Whitehurst and Lola Gordon; and two brothers: Gary Whitehurst, Del Whitehurst, and Tommy Whitehurst. Williamson, Walton  
Walton Williams, 79 Walton Alson Williams, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas went to be with our Lord and Savoir on August 26, 2015 surrounded by his family. Mr. Williams was born on July 26, 1936 in Iuka, Mississippi to the late Alson George and Allie Bea (Wilson) Williams. He married Glenda Dell Penny on August 18, 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas and recently celebrated their 58th anniversary. Walt grew up in Corinth, Mississippi. As a youth, he was awarded the Eagle Scout badge, the highest honor in scouting, and was appointed the Order of the Arrow. A United States Air Force veteran, he received Airman of the month twice while serving at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. He and his family moved to the Ozarks in 1974 to operate the Western Auto Store as a family business. Also he was a retired banker and an active member of the Church on the Rock in Yellville. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda, of the home; three daughters: Tamatha Starkey and her husband Doug; Belenda Shipman and her husband, Byron; and Judy Morris and her husband, Greg; all of Yellville, Arkansas. He was the grandfather of nine: Cameron, Samantha, Taylor, Kara Bea, Brandon, Andrea, Tyler, Jenny and Lexy; and the proud great-grandfather of thirteen great grandchildren. Walt leaves behind his loving sister, Martha Jane Ledbetter and her husband J.A. of Yellville, Arkansas. He was uncle to Amy and Jason and was great uncle to three. Funeral service for Mr. Williams will be 3:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Church on the Rock in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Kevin Duffy officiating; with Tyler Riley, Cameron Starkey, and J.A. Ledbetter sharing memories. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Cameron Starkey, Taylor Starkey, Tyler Riley, Jason Ledbetter, Jason Fouraker, Brandon Shipman, Les Clark, and Jody Pendarvis. Honorary pallbearers will be Kara Bea Shipman, Andrea Pendarvis, Jenny Riley, Samantha Starkey, Amy Clark, Bri Riley, Wendy Ledbetter, Jamie Starkey, Ciara Starkey, and Samantha Shipman. Interment will follow at De Soto Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to Church on the Rock, in Yellville, Arkansas; or to Boy Scouts of America.
