Roger B. Schweger, 81
Roger B. Schweger, age 81 of Mountain Home, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Mountain Home. He was born April 19, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Kenneth and Hazel (Wichmann) Schweger, He served his country in the United States Army for two years, with one of those years in Okinawa, Japan. Roger also served several years in the Army Reserve. On September 28, 1957 he married Mary Heller. Roger was a past president of the Twin Lakes Gun Club, and a member of the Shady Grove Hunting Club.
Roger B. Schweger is survived by his son Scott Schweger and his wife Nancy of Mooresville, North Carolina, his daughter Lee Ann Lougheed and her husband Kevin of Salado, Texas, grandchildren Roger Schweger, Raymond Schweger, Scott Arthurs, Eric Arthurs, Lily Lougheed, Kyle Riegel and Kane Riegel, and a sister Carol Ann Bonebrake of The Villages, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary (Heller) Schweger.
A Gathering of Friends will be Monday, September 16, 2013 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Roger's honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
