Ronald D. Denton, 61
Ronald died peacefully at the home he built and loved, in Whiteville on April 3, 2013.

His hobbies included building brush (dune) buggies (anything Volkswagen), stock car racing, fishing on Bull Shoals Lake and Redfishing/shrimping in Louisiana.
Ron is survived by one son of whom he was very proud, Neal Denton of Whiteville; his best friend of 42 years, Evelyn Denton (John) of Whiteville; one sister, Christine Barcelona (Sal) of Marrero, Louisiana; one brother, Charles Queary (Tammy) of Gassville; a devoted nephew, Bentley Barcelona (Alicia) of Oakland; a loving girlfriend, June Jennison of Midway; and numerous other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, George Queary; and one brother, Danny Denton.
