Thomas F. Deehan, 90

Thomas F. Deehan, age 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 30, 1923, in Derry City, Northern Ireland to Bernard and Martha O'Donnell Deehan. Mr. Deehan was a World War II U.S. Army veteran who served on the staff of General Douglas McArthur in Tokyo. He was a retired senior analyst with Eastern Airlines. He moved to Mountain Home in 1991 from Port Orange, Florida, and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and the Fisherman Council Knights of Columbus. Mr. Deehan was active in the Pro-Life Movement, and he faithfully attended Funeral Masses at St. Peter's bringing comfort to the bereaved. He was a major financial contributor to the purchase of the new Stations of the Cross in St. Peter's Church.

He is survived by a cousin, William (Maritza) O'Donnell: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Bell Deehan; his sister, Frances Deehan and a cousin, Tom O'Donnell.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday in the Roller Chapel with Deacon Robert Crawford officiating. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold as celebrant. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
