Betty Jean Arnett, 66

Betty Jean Arnett, 66, of Caulfield, MO passed away on September 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1947 in Elijah, MO, the daughter of Vince and Tavie (Dodson) Evans.

Betty was a graduate of Bakersfield High School. On December 23, 1965 she was united in marriage to Robert Arnett in Bakersfield, MO. To this union three daughters were born. Betty was a seamstress. She loved sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed crafts. She was a very loving wife and mother who took great pride in her family and her home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Betty was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Christian and member of the Fowler Chapel Church in Caulfield, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vince and Tavie Evans and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Robert Arnett of the home in Caulfield; three daughters Teresa L. Collins and husband David of Pumpkin Center, MO, Tronnia J. Orf and husband Jerry of Mansfield, MO and Tracey L. Cook and David Hensley of West Plains, MO; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; five siblings Loretta Milstead of Mountain Home, AR, Lawrence Evans of Caulfield, MO, Carolyn Peterman of Caulfield, MO, John David Evans of South Bend, IN and Earlene Harris of Mountain Home, AR.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in the Clear Springs Cemetery near Dawt, MO with Bro. David Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given to the Fowler Chapel Food Pantry, PO Box 1, Caulfield, MO 65626.
