Doris Marie Coleman, 89

Doris Marie Coleman, age 89, of Pyatt, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at her home.

Doris was born October 9, 1925 in Tow, Texas to the late Tom and Ora (Green) Garrett. She had lived in the area for the past 50 years, coming here from Texas.

She had been employed as a seamstress with Mar-Bax Shirt Company.

She is survived by two sons: Melvin Glenn Coleman and his wife, Karen, of Valley Springs, Arkansas; Jerry Coleman and his wife, Rhonda, of Midway, Arkansas; two step-sons: Jimmy Teague of St. Joe, Arkansas; Terry Teague of Leola, Arkansas; two daughters: Connie Brooks and her husband, Ray, of Harrison, Arkansas; Beverly Keymer and her husband, Graham, of Pyatt, Arkansas; two step-daughters: Judy Coleman of Clarksville, Arkansas; Patricia Taylor of Western Grove, Arkansas; a brother, Nathan Garrett of Tow, Texas; a sister, Laverne Nobles of Lone Grove, Texas; twenty-two grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Melvin Coleman; her second husband, Willie Teague; one son, Robert; one step-son, Billy Teague; and one granddaughter, Christy Teague; and one sister, Bill Lockhart.

Visitation for Mrs. Coleman will be Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, November 7, 2014 at Bruno Baptist Church in Bruno, Arkansas with Bro. Eldon Hellums officiating.

Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery in Marshall Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Coleman, Craig Coleman, Bobby Ray Coleman, Adam Keymer, Michael Teague, Ricky Manes.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Marion County Community Choir.

Memorials may be made to Bruno Baptist Church.
