Harry M. Kopczewski, 93

Mr. Harry M. Kopczewski, age 93, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at his residence.

He was born February 25, 1919, in Cicero, Illinois, to Michael and Stella Talarek Kopczewski. On February 7, 1948, he married Veronica F. Wozny in Cicero. Mr. Kopczewski was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and worked for General Electric. He moved to Mountain Home in 1981 from Cicero and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Fisherman Council and Fr. Henry J. Chinery Fourth Degree Assembly, Ozark VFW Post #3246 and Alley-White American Legion Post #52. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and woodworking.

Mr. Kopczewski is survived by his wife: Veronica F. Kopczewski: of the home; a daughter: Lea Ann Kopczewski: Manhattan, New York; a brother: Raymond Kopczewski: Anaconda, Illinois; a sister: Eleanor Witek: Cicero, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 8:30-9:45A.M. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00A.M. Saturday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Stan Swiderski as celebrant. Private entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
