Ivy Gene Perry, 83

Ivy Gene Perry, 83, a resident of Flippin passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 11, 1930, in Fowlkes, Tennessee to the late Clyde and Leona (Ivy) Perry. Gene served in the United States Navy and was a 32nd Degree Mason. After retiring as an electrician in Kansas City, Kansas he relocated to Flippin in 1992 where he enjoyed spending his time fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Perry and a brother, Clyde Perry, Jr.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny Perry of Dearing, Kansas, Jim and Susie Perry of Clearwater, Kansas and Joe Perry of Reed Springs, Missouri; a sister, Louise Hicks of Dyersburg, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
