Jane Gay Liston Obituary
Jane Gay Liston, 85

Jane Gay Liston, 85 of Gassville passed away January 26, 2016 at the Gassville Therapy and Living Center.

Jane was born November 9, 1930 in Buffalo, New York to the late Robley and Eleanor (Noel) Woodmansee. She lived a full life and moved many times as her father's occupation required. She lived many years in Southern California, Scottsdale, Arizona, Hot Springs, Arkansas and the last 22 years in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Jane lived life to the fullest and had a true love and passion for horses and the showing of them. She had an equestrian training and lessons center for many years and enjoyed many accomplishments in this field. Jane enjoyed being an entrepreneur and was very good at sales. Jane and her late husband Donn owned a machine shop, bowling alley, horse trailer and barn company.

Another gift she possessed was always being there for others. She was always available with an open ear anytime of the day. She once said "I don't know why, but everybody likes to talk to me and share their happy times and their sad times and I like to listen." She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robley (Bob) Woodmansee and two husbands, John Beese and Donn Liston.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tom and Linda Nunley; granddaughter Michelle Page; grandson Roland Page and many extended family as well as some close friends, Terri Hart, Maxine Weaver and Lisa Raney. The family would like to thank everyone who helped her through these final years with her struggles and the condition of COPD.

Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
