Lealon John Hurst, 94

Lealon John Hurst, 94, a lifelong resident of Flippin, died Saturday, at home. He was born on June 15, 1917, at Flippin to John and Agatha (Jefferson) Hurst. He was a farmer and guided on White River and co-owned the Cotter Trout Dock during the 1960s. He was a member of the Cotter Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years Inez (Burch) Hurst; two daughters, Joyce Henry and Lavonne Davenport, both of Flippin; one brother, and five sisters, four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carlis Hurst.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, at Burns Funeral Home with Bro. Luell McCutcheon officiating.
