Mrs. Juanita Holden, age 86 of Peel, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. She was born November 30, 1927 in Peel, Arkansas to Orval Davidson and Bessie Casebolt Davidson. She married Tom Holden on March 17, 1951.
She was a member of the Church of God in Flippin. She enjoyed time with her family, friends and church. She loved Southern Gospel music and gardening.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Nancy (Otis) Gibson and Rebecca Nichols, both of Mountain Home; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, 8 great- great grandchildren 2 sisters: Betty Boyd of Mountain Home and Scarlett Conner of Belleville; 2 brothers: Eugene Davidson of Wichita, KS and Dwayne Davidson of Columbus, OH and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Holden and parents, 3 brothers: Fred Davidson, J.D. Davidson and Jimmy Davidson, 2 sisters: Elva Young and Madeline Cooper, and 2 grandsons.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 AM at the Church of God in Flippin on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. A funeral service, conducted by Pastor Heath Hogan will follow at 11 A.M. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Flippin.
