Julia Ann Hollaway, 61, a resident of Flippin passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Mountain Home.
She was born June 24, 1951, in Gassville to the late, Lester and Lillian King Dewey. Julia married Herman Hollaway on August 23, 1974, in Flippin. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God. Julia was the office manager at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center for 7 years. She loved motorcycling with her husband and was a member of the Harley Owners Group. Julia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Dewey.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Herman Hollaway of Flippin; four brothers, Harold Dewey of Flippin, Johnny Dewey of Elizabeth and Michael and David Dewey, both of Gassville; three sisters, Linda Dewey of Mountain Home, Diane Mendoza of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Trudy Bucci of Mountain Home and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Will Minick officiating. Burial will be private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 774 Long Street, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653.
