Lola Marie Cotter, 80

Lola Marie Cotter passed on February 14, 2013 at her home. She was pronounced at Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was born August 13 1932 to Paul and Ellen Joyce Wade. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1950.

On March 10, 1951 she was married to Chester Cotter in Viola Arkansas. They had three children Ken, Nancy and Floyd.

Lola is a member of the Viola Church of Christ. Her hobbies include quilting, cooking, playing cards and spoiling her grandchildren. The two most important things in her life were God and family.

She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Chester Cotter of the family home; son Ken Cotter and wife Juanita Cotter of Viola Arkansas, daughter Nancy Cotter of Siloam Springs Arkansas, son Floyd Cotter of Lane Kansas; Thirteen grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tobey Marberry, Amy Beck and husband Jason Beck, Chrissy Lance and husband Shawn Lance, Jordan Cotter, Maggie Cotter, Haylee Connors, Tess Cotter, Luke Cotter, Haydon Marberry, Blaine Marberry, Cody Lance, Brady Lance, Sylvia Beck and Jana Beck; and sister: Mary Brooks of Viola Arkansas, a brother Ray Wade and wife Eileen Wade of Viola Arkansas. Additionally she is survived by numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ralph Wade and a sister Elsie Martin.

Services are Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at 2 pm at the Viola Church of Christ with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation is Saturday from 3 to 5 pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel.
