Loise Faye Nail, 81

Funeral services for Lois Faye (Young) Nail, 81, recently of Mountain Home will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at East Side Baptist, from Noon - 2 p.m. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. She passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Barnes St. Peter's Hospital.

She was born January 8, 1931, in Knobel, AR, to Lee Coleman and Flossie (Nevalls) Young. On September 12, 1947, she married Louie William Nail. They lived and raised their family in Webster Groves, MO, and in 1985, after retirement, she and Lou moved to Mountain Home. She was a woman of many interests that changed through the seasons of her life. She loved reading her Bible, teaching Sunday school, working in ceramics, crocheting, cooking and canning, reading, game shows, working puzzles and playing cards. She was devoted to Christ and her family and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Nail was preceded in death by her husband Louie William Nail; and survived by one son, Rev. Dr. Larry Nail and wife, Pam, of Warrenton, MO; four daughters, Janet Hensel and husband, Richard, of Liberty, MO; Beverly Hoferkamp and husband, Ed, of Mountain Home, AR; Linda Kinder and husband, David, of St. Charles, MO; and Lisa Schomaker and husband, Mark, of Festus, MO; four sisters, Ruth Young Ford of Corpus Christie, TX; Bobbie Young Wainscott and husband EJ of Jonesboro, AR; Goldia Young Goodman of New Madrid, MO; and Sonja Young Jett and husband Jon, of Cherokee Village, AR; and two brothers, Gean Young of Greenwood, IN; and Glen Young and wife Joanna of Knobel, AR; fifteen grand-children; Russell, Carrie, Ben, Amanda, Stacy, Grant, Jessica, Gabe, Emily, Hannah, Aaron, Clayton, Zach, Tyler and Andy; seventeen great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Monarae Young Weber; and two brothers, Leo Young and Dean Young.

Memorials may be made to the Benevolence Fund of East Side Baptist Church.
