A Funeral Mass for Martin L Pullam of Dolph, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Monday, September 12, 2016, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Celebrant Norbert Rappold officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with a Vigil at 2:00 P.M.

Martin passed away September 8, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was born July 5, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Francis and Anne Norkunis Pullam. Martin graduated from St. Phillips High School and attended many reunions. He married Louise Lenick on February 16, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois and worked as a Electrical Engineer. Martin lived in Dolph since 1997, moving from Colorado. He was a member of the St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church and the IEEE. Martin was respected and loved by everyone. He inspired a lifetime learning ethic within his family and community raising eight college graduates. It was a dream of Martin's to live in Arkansas where he built his own home named "Nub's Blue Moon Cabin" after his father and preserving his land for wildlife. In his retirement he inspired many in the community with his passion for education, tutoring mathematics at the Alternative School, Calico Rock High School and ASUMH. Martin was deeply devoted to his Catholic faith.

Martin is survived by his eight children, Martin (Mark Thompson) Pullam of Denver, CO; Maureen (Deen ) Speer of New Castle, CO; Marianne (Patrick Kleckner) Pullam of Ft. Collins, CO; Margaret Ballard of Ft. Collins, CO; Matthew Pullam of Broomfield, CO; Merritt (Robin Sweeney Pullam) Pullam of Denver, CO; Megan Pullam of Denver, CO; Mitchell (Belinda) Pullam of Denver, CO; 13 grandchildren, Miranda, Zachary, Faith, Morgan, Lindsay, Isabelle, Wyatt, Emily, Emma, Nicholas, Carter, Clara, Madelyn, one great-grandchild, Paul Cohen, two sisters, Mary (David) Fritz of Jordan, AR, sister, Joellen (Ray Warren) Rosenquist of Pineville, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, and brother, Frank Pullam.
