Phyllis J. Cadieux, age 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
She was born November 5, 1921, at Bonfield, Illinois, to Floyd Easton and Daisy Alberta Scroggins Palmer. On May 10, 1941, she married Paul L. Cadieux at Manteno, Illinois. She was a Gold Star mother. Paul and Phyllis moved to Mountain Home in 1983 from LaGrange Park, Illinois.
Mrs. Cadieux was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women and was a volunteer at St. Peter's Clothing Room. She was also a member of the Alley-White American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed music and being with people.
Survivors are three daughters: Patricia (Merton) Cnudde: Clifton, Illinois; Paula (Gary) Richards: Anaheim, California; and Nancy (Mark) Abney: Mountain Home; a sister: Ruth Jones: Kankakee, Illinois; six grandchildren: Mark and Michael Cnudde, Monet (Thomas) Schelling, Janae and Thomas Theis and Adrienne Richards; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son: Thomas P. Cadieux; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Sunday in the Roller Chapel with Deacon Robert Crawford officiating. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 14, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Christopher Okeke as celebrant. A Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M.
