Vincent Gregory "Greg" McLain, 53, Edmond, OK, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from a sudden heart attack while working in Lawton, OK.

Greg was born in Wichita, KS, on February 20, 1962. He grew up in Salina, KS and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1980. He moved to Edmond, OK in 1982, and married Jane Garrison on May 28, 1983, in Atchison, KS. After moving to Oklahoma, he began a career in sales in the office supply industry. In 1995, Greg and his business partner, Mark Turner, bought Laser Clean, and the company experienced rapid growth through 1997 when it became a part of Precision Document Solutions. Greg served as Senior Vice President responsible for sales and operations in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Greg is survived by his wonderful wife Jane of 31 years. He was the proud father of his incredible son, Vincent Gregory "Vinnie" McLain II, who is 17 and a junior, and his beautiful daughter, Sarah Kathryn McLain, who is 15 and a freshman, both attending Edmond Memorial High School. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Yolanda & Clay Greenwood of Mannford, OK; his father and stepmother, Larry & Lois McLain of Cotter, AR; his sister and brother-in-law, Charlinda "Charlie" & Ja Wallar and nieces Megan, Madison, Morgan & Makayla, Edmond, OK; his uncles and their families: Mark & Salli Clark, Sand Springs, OK; Phillip Clark, Oklahoma City, OK; John & Julie McLain, Colwich, KS; and Ralph & Isabelle Castillo, Wichita, KS; his aunt, Vera & Robert Mendoza, Chelsea, AL; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Price, Atchison, KS; brothers- and sisters-in-law and their families: Mike & Beth Garrison, Pasco, WA; David & Linda Garrison, Wichita, KS; Bill & Janet Garrison, Basehor, KS; Kathy Soph, Atchison, KS; and Sarah & Doug Bounds, Leavenworth, KS; stepbrothers and stepsisters and their families: Michelle & Tom Mullen, Columbus, GA; Lisa & Brian West, Keller, TX; Angela Harvey, Cotter, AR; Kendra Sorensen, Marshalltown, IA; and Clinton Caraway, Creston, IA; and special friends Mark & Paula Turner and family, Highland Village, TX.

Greg loved his family dearly and they were very important to him. He was a man with a servant's heart and was always willing to help anyone. He cared deeply for the people he worked with and the clients he served. Greg enjoyed life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4th, 9am to 8pm, with reception from 6-8pm, at Crawford Funeral Home in Edmond. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2pm, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Edmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary's Episcopal Church or to EMHS Swine Week, benefitting Angels Foster Family Network.
