Wesley Dean Wallace, 68

Wesley Dean Wallace, 68, of Gainesville, MO passed to heaven on May 24, 2011 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR, after a battle with cancer. Dean was born July 29, 1942 in Gainesville, MO the son of Grant and Effie (Wilkerson) Wallace.

He loved to restore old cars. Dean was always working on an old antique of some kind. He owned several old cars over the years, and loved to fix one up and drive it into town to show it off. He was always quick with a smile and a laugh; and he loved to make others laugh. He had many close friends who meant alot to him and he will be dearly missed by all of them.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Grant and Effie Wallace; and his wife Nadine Wallace. He is survived by one daughter Deanna McKanna and Kevin Lind of Mountain Home, AR; two grandchildren Kendall and Ashlee McKanna; five step children Lisa Webb, Owen Duncan, Georgina Quintero, Anna Duncan and Tommy Duncan; one brother Larry Wallace of Gainesville, MO; one sister Shirley Sellars and husband Jack of Mountain Home, AR; three nephews Chad Wallace, David Wallace and Rick Swearengin; two nieces Rhonda Johnson and Tammy Conrad; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Dean will be Friday, May 27, 2011, at 2 pm in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jeff Dotson officiating. Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 5-7 pm in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses or to Mission Square Church of Gainesville.
