William D. "Bill" Bobco, 95

William D. "Bill" Bobco, age 95, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1917 to Simon and Anna Radzvil Bobco. On February 15, 1941, he married Eleanor Josephine Dvojack in Chicago. Mr. Bobco had a Bachelors Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and worked at the Armour Research Instititute of I.I.T, and later at Continental Can Company. He moved to Mountain Home 32 years ago from Oak Park, Illinois.

He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, taught boating safety, volunteered to do income tax work for senior citizens and volunteered for A.A.R.P. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and golf.

Survivors are his wife: Eleanor J. Bobco: of the home; two sons: William D. (Donna) Bobco: Oak Park, Illinois; and Kenneth Bobco: Chicago, Illinois; a daughter: Dorothy (Wayne) Vipond: Prospect Heights, Illinois; a brother: Richard Bobco: California; a granddaughter: Christina Marie Bobco: Austin, Texas; two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 21, 2013, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
