William Robert Czanstkowski, 79

William Robert Czanstkowski, age 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011, in Mountain Home.

He was born August 20, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Bruno Benedict and Naomi Sarah Clemens Czanstkowski. On April 28, 1962, he married Joyce Louise Kozlowski at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Itasca, Illinois.

He drove semi-trailer trucks for over 25 years for various companies. They moved from Chicago, Illinois, to Elgin, Illinois, in 1966, lived there for 12 years and then moved to Midway, Arkansas, in August of 1978. In July of 2011 they moved into Mountain Home, Arkansas. He owned and ran the King Lion Car Wash for over 15 years (working with his family), and was also the manager of the Cresthaven Mobile Home Park in Midway for over 10 years.

He enjoyed fixing things, being very mechanically inclined, staying busy, and also enjoyed reading and traveling with his wife, Joyce.

Mr. Czantskowski is survived by his wife: Joyce Czantskowski: of the home; one daughter: Jeri (Ray) Sherry: Mountain Home; three sons: Mike (Karen) Czantskowski: Elgin, Illinois; Ronald (Alecia) Czanstkowski and Thomas (Jill) Czanstkowski: all of Mountain Home; 11 grandchildren: Bethany Sojka (Mike) Hughey; Samantha Sherry (Stephen) Masterson; Adam (Bridgette) Sojka; Jyllianne Czanstkowski; Scott (Gianna) Sherry; Jay (Sara) Ball; Kaitlin and Ryan Czanstkowski; Sydney, Jacob and Ali Czanstkowski; five great-grandchildren: Camryn Hughey; Matthew and Nicholas Sojka; and Lincoln and Daryn Sherry. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; one daughter: Kathleen Lynn Sojka; and one great-grandson: Garrett Lee Sherry.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 26, 2011, in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
