Richard S. Sadler, 70

Richard S. Sadler, 70, of Clarkridge passed away June 9, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1943, in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Steve and Rose (Amero) Sadler. Richard served proudly in the United States Navy. He loved to play chess and to play golf every chance he could. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Natalie Tomlinson.

Survivors include his wife Janet Sadler of Clarkridge; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Roberta Sadler of Clarkridge; his twin brother, Robert Sadler of Lynn, Massachusetts; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nephews and two great nephews.

Visitation will be held 2:00 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2014, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ross Harris officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the _ and the United States Navy Honor Guard will be in the Thacker Cemetery near Clarkridge under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
