Althea Faulkner, 83
Mrs. Althea Faulkner, age 83 of Mountain Home passed away Friday, June 27, 2014.
She was born April 11, 1931 in Lima, Ohio to James and Helen Post.
She was member of the Catholic Faith. Her greatest joy was in caring for others. She was a caretaker for the elderly and enjoyed shopping and cooking for them. She loved to crochet and made afghans and blankets for her children.
She is survived by six children: Gayla Rae Kidwell & Dennis Langston of Caulfield, Missouri, Velma Christiansen of Mountain Home, James Faulkner of Grandview, Missouri, William Faulkner of Mountain Home, Raymond Faulkner of Mountain Home and Thomas & Brenda Faulkner of Nixa, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, & special friend Lydia Canfield. She was proceeded in death by her husband, James Faulkner.
Visitation will be from 5-7PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in East Oakland Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Arkansas Humane Society or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
