Anna Lee (Moody) Brack, 83
Anna Lee (Moody) Brack, 83, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at her residence.
She was born February 22, 1931, to the late Allen "Boss" and Mollie (Hicks) Moody. Anna Lee graduated from Calico Rock High School in 1949. She married Melvin Brack on July 22, 1951, in Milberger, Kansas. Anna Lee taught Sunday school, worked in the bus ministry and served as a hospitality volunteer. She enjoyed reading and would read the Bible through many times every year. Anna Lee also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. She was a waitress for many years at Anglers Café. Anna Lee was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home. Within the Asssemblies of God, she was active in the Women's Ministries and served as a member of the Review Board for the Missionettes. She was also active in Christmas Dramas held by the church. Anna Lee was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Melvin Brack of Mountain Home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jo Ann Brack of Crossville, Tennessee and Michael's children, David Brack (Mjr Erin) of Niceville, Florida along with David's children, Ayden and Ashlynn, Hannah Starnes (Brock) of Nashville, Tennessee, Jessica Ruppert (Zac) of Louisville, Kentucky and Jessica's son, Benjamin and Rachel Brack of Memphis, Tennessee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice Renee and Rev. Larry Thomas of Mountain Home and Kimberly Dawn and Rev. Michael Lager of Fort Smith and Kimberly's children, Madison and Bentley Lager of Fort Smith and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home with Pastor Mike Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Moody Cemetery near Iuka (CR 213) under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
