Mr. Michael Lee Davis, age 61 of Norfork passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jack and Virginia Kendall Davis.
He was the President and co-founder of Norfork General Industries, Inc. and owner of Sharps Cutlery Firearms Possibles, LLC in Norfork, but his proudest accomplishments were his family. He loved spending time with his grandson Adam, his daughter Olivia, and the rest of his family. An accomplished musician on the guitar and piano, Michael also owned a recording studio. He had a great sense of humor that will be sorely missed. He loved his dogs, hunting and fishing and trading guns. He had his Federal Firearms License and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his daughter Olivia Davis and her husband Dempsy Thompson of Norfork; his grandson, Adam Michael Davis of Norfork; a nephew, Josh Davis, his wife April and their children Jackson, Avery and Ashlynn; a niece, Meagan Parks, her husband Adam and children Austin and Dallas; nephew Jacob Davis; nieces Ginger West and her family and Shelly Phifer and her family; a sister-in-law, Barbara Davis and a half sister, Penny Riggs, along with many friends and acquaintances. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Joseph Davis, a sister, Jaqueline Ruth Householder and an infant brother, Gerald Wayne Davis.
