Inez M. Allen, 91

Inez M. Allen, 91, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Friday, October 4, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on July 3, 1922, in Oil Trough, Arkansas to the late Lawrence and Etta (Lankford) Boyd. Ms. Allen loved most importantly her family, but also gardening, flowers, fishing and animals, especially dogs and birds. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul F. Allen and a daughter, Erma Cariker.

Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Melba Wallis of Mountain Home, Sandra and Harold Wallis of Augusta and Judy Snyder of Mountain Home; a brother, Ronald Boyd of Ward; nine grandchildren, Terry Cariker of Yukon, Oklahoma, Joan Billingsley of Ozark, Missouri, Debra Mink of Dyersburg, Tennessee, David Wallis of Mountain Home, Teresa Evans of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Belinda Cole of Sparta, Missouri, Donna Querry of Bald Knob, Daniel Snyder of Springfield, Missouri and Megan Snyder of New York, New York; 12 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren and a well-loved friend, Rendel Deatherage of Whiteville.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery near Mountain Home with the Reverend Donald Dow officiating. Burial in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery will be under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Terry Billingsley, Rob Finley, Richard Barnes, Christopher Cariker, Keith Wallis and Daniel Snyder. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Billingsley, Terry Cariker, David Wallis and Brandon Linnebur.
