Carolyn Regalado, 75
Carolyn Sue "Meme" Regalado, 75, of Cotter, AR passed away March 23, 2016, at Gassville, AR Therapy and Living Center. She was born May 2, 1940, in Thayer, Missouri, the daughter of Shelby and Ella Looney Dotson. Carolyn met and married Joe Regalado, June 17, 1957, in South Carolina while he was serving in the United States Air Force. Carolyn was lovingly called Meme by her grandchildren. Meme & Papa retired to Cotter, AR 15 years ago from Jenks, OK because of their love of fishing. Meme also enjoyed cooking and quilting.
Meme is survived by her husband, Joe Regalado of Cotter, AR, daughters, Mary Ann Stewart of Bull Shoals, AR and Anna Marie Evans (Barry) of Jenks, Okla; sons, James Regalado (Charito) of Cotter, AR and Joe Lee Regalado of Miami, OK; six grandchildren, Shelby, Christina, Melissa, Leigh and Joseph of OK and Tech Sargent, Bonnie Nicholls of Banbury, England; sister Nan Shannon of Belton, TX; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Harley, Tabitha, Lily, Skyla of OK and Dillon and Jacob of Banbury, England. She was preceded in death by her birth and adoptive parents, two sisters and a granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life for Carolyn "Meme" Regalado, 75, of Cotter, AR will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers there is an account set up at US Bank in Flippin, AR to help the family with funeral expenses.
