Angela Lisa Ex, of League City, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in Houston, Texas at the age of 47. She was born on August 21, 1964 in Manchester, England to Arthur and Rita Smith. Angela grew up in England, graduated from high school, attended college and nearly pursued a career as a professional singer. She and her daughter Laura moved to Texas in November 2002 to begin a new life here after meeting her husband Paul in April of 2000. Despite many medical hardships over the years, one of Angela's greatest gifts was her ability to make friends and share her love of living with others in a unique and loving fashion. She had a beautiful voice, bubbling personality, love of animals, knack for decorating, and most of all, opened her heart to all who knew her. Ang, you will be forever loved, missed and remembered. Angela is survived by her loving husband Paul, daughter Laura, father Arthur, brother Michael Smith and his wife Alex, sister Jennifer Barrow and her husband Tony, pomeranian dog Sadie and many other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00pm with a Celebration of her life at 4:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573.
