Donald Geoffrey Meeker of Nassau Bay, Texas unexpectedly passed away Sunday morning at age 65. Don grew up in Pasadena, attending Sam Rayburn High School. He had a myriad of interests that included computers, fishing, and photography of all kinds. He was quite proud of a scar he bore on his leg as a result of being outmaneuvered by a bull while he was employed as a rodeo photographer! He was top of his class and worked as a computer analyst until he was forced to take early retirement due to health problems. He will be missed by his mother Modena, sons Robert and Sean, daughter-in-law Destin, son-in-law Jonas, grandsons Ryan, Brandon, Nicholas and Justin, brothers Glenn and his wife Zina, Mark and his wife Suzie, sister Marsha and her husband Brian, niece Laura, nephews Kevin, Jerry, Alexander, and Jacob, a dog named Sweetpea, and his ex-wife Mary Beth, who still loves him.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 21, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd. (main entrance on Red Bluff), at 2 p.m. Words of comfort may be shared at www.rosewood.cc under current services.
