Lucille Spink began her journey on October 15, 1930 in Lafayette Louisiana. She departed for her final road trip on Saturday December 28, 2013. Lucille lived 83 years to the fullest. She enjoyed her retirement surrounded by many friends and family. She assisted her daughter with childcare so that Kelly could complete her educational goals. She offered her home to family members in times of need. She was selfless when it came to her family and loved them deeply. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and many bridge clubs. Some of her hobbies included reading, crocheting and knitting. She loved to travel and was always ready for a road trip. Lucille enjoyed good food and gatherings with friends. Her happiest moments were time spent with her family. She is survived by her children: Murray Rogers (wife Ursula), Kyle Graves (wife Ragan), Kelly Carpenter (husband Mark Rausch), Tolly Graves (wife Sandra), brother Joel Guichard (wife Velma), Grandchildren: Aaron Rogers (wife Allison), Christopher & Cody Rogers, Kris Carpenter, Nicole, Chase and Taylor Graves, Hampton Tolly Graves III (wife Lisa), Eric Graves (wife Pam), great grandchildren Cole & Hayden Rogers, Nicholas, Sarah, Morgan and Andrew Graves and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She will be missed by many. A Memorial Service will be led by The Reverend Bob Caperton on Saturday January 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. A Reception is to follow at the Terrace Retirement Community 780 West Bay Area Blvd. Webster, Texas 77598, 281-316-9055.
