Marion Elizabeth Jean Gannon, of League City, passed away peacefully from complications of a stroke on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Webster, Texas at the age of 70. She was born on June 5, 1945 in Milton, Ontario to Denzil and Marion Lawrence. Marion graduated from Western University in London, Ontario, Canada as a Medical Doctor and spent over 40 years as a physician. She enjoyed missionary work, gardening, traveling, her duties with the food truck and most especially being a grandmother. Marion is survived by her children Kate Gannon, Matt Gannon and Curtis Gannon, sister Fern, brother Bryon, granddaughter Sofiah and many other loving family and friends. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 3:00pm at League City United Methodist Church, 1411 West Main, League City, Texas 77573 with Rev. Joel McMahon IV officiating. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 424 E. 92nd St, New York, NY 10128-6804 or , 225 N.
